Mrs. Doyle was born on Aug. 3, 1926, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Arthur and May (McNamara) Kennedy.
Jane worked as a traffic manager at Lea Manufacturing for more than 40 years.
A lady of great faith, Jane was a longtime parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Woodbury. She enjoyed gardening, needlepoint, and was an avid reader.
Jane is survived by her two stepdaughters Patricia Luca of Berlin and Marguerite Seabourn of Cool, Calif.; her six stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
She also leaves several generations of nieces and nephews, including May (Della Pietra) Leone of New York, with whom she was very close.
Jane was predeceased by her brother, Arthur Kennedy; and her sisters, Mary Rita Kennedy, Dorothy Ponti and Esther Della Pietra.
The funeral will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. from Maiorano Funeral Home, 95 Willow St., Waterbury to St. Teresa of Avila Church in Woodbury, for a Mass at noon. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Watertown. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
