Mary Wetherbee Pratt, 86, of Prattville, AL, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017. She was born October 23, 1930, in Gulfport, MS, to Joseph A. and Earlyne Sanders Wetherbee.

She grew up in Aliceville, AL, and graduated from Aliceville High School in 1948. She was a retired employee of the Prattville school system.

Mary was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Prattville, the Prattville Garden Club, The Yaupon Club in Prattville and the Captain William Bibb Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Montgomery, AL.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Earlyne Wetherbee, her son Thomas R. Pratt, Jr, her daughter Missy Pratt Aita, and her sister Virginia Wetherbee Collins.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Thomas Ralph Pratt, Sr., her daughter Deborah Pratt Clark, her granddaughters Marilyn Pratt, Maggie Clark and Elizabeth Clark Rockwell, her grandson Max Pratt, great granddaughter Winter Rockwell, sister Betty Jo Wetherbee, two nieces and one nephew.

There will be a private graveside service on Friday, March 10, 2017, in the Garden Cemetery near Aliceville, AL.
