Obituary of Jack Arnold, who passed away peacefully at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton at 90 years of age.
Cherished father of Betty Lou (Robert) Borho of Waterloo, Gerald (Joan) Arnold of Mildmay, Mary Anne (Douglas) Murray of Calgary, Allan (Beverley) Arnold of Bloomingdale, Marlene (Richard) Borho of Kitchener, Marilyn (Charles) Meyer of Mildmay and Joan (Michael) Haelzle of Mildmay.

Special great-grandpa to Kaitlin and Matthew Haffner, Sarah and Allison Harris, Jordan, Brett, Caleb and Conner Schnurr, Morgan, Madison and McKenna Hickling, Treyton and Tyson Weinstein, Amelia Borho, Evan Grubb and Kylie O'Hagan.

Survived by his brother Clarence (Barbara) Arnold of St. Jacobs.
John was predeceased by Florence Huber, his beloved wife of 64 years, on May 30, 2009, his sister Mary in infancy and parents Alfred and Cecilia (nee Schumacher) Arnold.

John was a lifetime member of the Agricultural Society, served on Parish Council and was actively involved in education holding positions of trustee and Board Chair. Many happy moments were spent with family, playing baseball, throwing horseshoes and enjoying a good game of cards.

John's family received relatives and friends on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton with parish prayers at 6:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Mildmay with Father Terry Sehl as celebrant. Interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mildmay.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Mildmay Sacred Heart Church Building Fund, the Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice.
