Barbara Milligan, 64, died June 12, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was a former teacher and administrator of Memphis City Schools for over 40 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving cousins Willie C. (Vada) Milligan; Rosie Bobo, Charles Oliver Inez Williams, Lizzie Williams, Ida Pryor, aunt Chaney Milligan, and a host of other loving cousins, co-workers, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, June 18, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday 9 to 9:55 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist church. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 10:00am at Pilgrim Rest Baptist church, 491 East McLemore. Burial will be at New Park Cemetery (Horn Lake Rd.) M.J. Edwards Whitehaven Chapel 901-332-3164

Principal Milligan' s perseverance and values will be missed. However, her teachings will live on in the hearts of those she interacted with. May her legacy continue throughout the generations.

My family was shocked and saddened to hear that Barbara had passed. We hold some special memories that will always linger in our hearts for her. I remember so well how she loved her summer months for rest and relaxation. Now, she is truly at rest and peace. Our deepest sympathies to the family.

Barbara and I were 1963 Graduates at Hamilton High School as well
College. We continued to keep in touch with each other through our
Education Carees. After retiring I worked as a Substitute Teacher with
