Johnnie Belle Simmons Shaw, 88 went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2017. She was born September 14, 1928 in Polk County, Arkansas to Frank Egger and Emma Barton Egger. Johnnie loved cooking, crafts, dancing and entertaining friends for her past time. Johnnie is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Elmer Simmons and her second husband Fred Shaw, two brothers, Darris and Owen Egger. Johnnie leaves behind to cherish her memories a daughter Judy Mann and husband Tony of Lubbock, a son David Simmons and wife Penny of Lorenzo, four grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo on Wednesday March 8, 2017 from 6 to 7 pm. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday March 9, 2017 at Lone Star Cowboy Church of Lubbock, with burial at 2:00 pm at the Lorenzo Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jerry Swetnam, Jackie Parchman, James Moore, Tony Martin, Kerry Hurst, Terry Hurst, Tommy Morrison and James Williams.
