Loretta Ann Hice of Thackerville, OK was born June 7, 1937 in Italy, TX, the daughter of John Elmer Willbanks and Mary Louise Briles Connally Willbanks. She passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta, at the age of 79.
A resident of Love County for the past 21 years, Ann had previously been employed as a secretary in the Roanoke, TX Elementary School for 27 years. She and Thomas Ray Hice were married in Weatherford, TX on August 30, 1956. She wholeheartedly loved her family and did whatever needed to be done to make them all happy. Ann was an active member of the Marietta Church of Christ as long as her health permitted.
Preceding her in death were her parents; grandson, Donald Hice, Jr.; sister, Emma Peterman; and brother, Aubrey "Bud" Willbanks.
She is survived by her husband; twin sons, R; daughter and son-in-law; brother and sister-in-law; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as casket bearers are Gery Gierisch, Jr., Leslie Gierisch, Justin Simpson, Ronny Backus, Dustin Webb, and Brian Stephenson. Honorary bearers are Ronnie Hice, Jr. and the men of the Marietta Church of Christ.
