Faynelle Alberty Sitts, 82, passed away on February 17, 2017. Faye was born on May 31, 1934 in Westville, OK to Emmett Andrew and Ella Faye (Polk) Alberty. Fay was a meticulous person who had a sarcastic/dry sense of humor. She enjoyed spending time with her family whether it was fishing or traveling throughout the United States. On July 5, 1979, she married Kenneth Sitts. Together Kenneth and Faye enjoyed dressing as "Breezy and Mr. Breezy" the clowns. In 1982, Faye retired as a jet engine mechanic, from Tinker Air Force Base. After retiring, she spent more time gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family at their lake house in Texoma. Faye is preceded in death by her parents; son, Drew Smith; daughter, Rosella Sitts; and brother, James "Sonny" Alberty. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK at 10:00 a.m. Friday February 24, 2017.
