PA IGI Index shows he was christened 24 Oct 1819, son of George & Magdalena, Lebanon Co., PA.

A book on the Clemens family give DOB as Sept. 14, 1819. Other children were: Frank, John, William, Charles (wife, Mary F.), Jeremiah, Mrs. Mary Gardner, Mrs. Rebecca Bowman. One son (Noah) died in infancy.
Jeremiah married #2-Rebecca Miller.

"Mr. Jeremiah Clemens known to many of our oldest readers, died at his country home near Norborne, Carroll Co., MO, June 23, 1906, in the 87th year of his age. His funeral, at which were his wife and all of his 11 children, except a son William, who resides in Arkansas, took place June 25, his remains being buried beside those of his first wife, Elizabeth Brock, Elders S. B. Shirky and J. S. Kline, conducted the services, the attendance being exceptionally large. He was an industrious, prosperous, correct, well disposed, honorably citizen, and stood well in his community"
