Eleanor Beall was born in 1765 to Thomas and Verlinda (Beall) Beall. Thomas and family relocated from Frederick County to Allegany County, Maryland where he began to lay out the foundation for the current town of Cumberland. Eleanor was the oldest of the eight Beall children.
She married John Conrad Beatty before 1786 and is thought to be childless. When she died in 1795, John married her sister, Nancy Ann Beall, on 27 December 1799 in Allegany County, Maryland, and between the two marriages, five children were born.
The Beatty children were listed in the will of their mother's uncle: Josiah Beall.

Dec. 11, 1804 -to nephew and neices, the children of Thomas Beall of Samuel and Verlinda, named: John Brooke Beall; Josiah Beall; Isaac Beall; Ann Beatty, the wife of John Conrad Beatty; Eliza Beall, the wife of Aza Beall; Lucy English, the wife of James English; Priscilla Beall; and Eleanor Beall deceased, therefore her children William Beall Beatty, Thomas Beall Beatty, Otto Richard Beatty, Sue Beatty, and Louisa Beatty.

"Friends of Mount Olivet Cemetery have no record" of Eleanor Beall Beatty being buried there. She died in 1795 and is buried with her husband John Conrad Beatty in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Col, was 25 and his mother, Mary Dorthea Grosch, was 25. He married Eleanor Beall before 1786, in Maryland, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 27 October 1811, in Cumberland, Allegany, Maryland, United States, at the age of 47, and was buried in Frederick, Frederick, Maryland, United States."
