Ruth Petty Mason, 85, of Boiling Springs, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Pelham Medical Center.
Native of Boiling Springs, daughter of James Darnell and Altie Seay Petty; widow of James D. (J.D.) Mason.
A homemaker and a member of Northbrook Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce W. and Kimberly Mason of Boiling Springs; daughters and son-in-law: Amanda and Mark Baston of Boiling Springs, Vera and David Allred of Lexington, SC, Gloria and Brian Dover of Boiling Springs; brothers: Buster Petty of Boiling Springs and Troy Petty of Goodyear, AZ; sister: Ruby Cox of Greer, SC; grandchildren: Corey and Tyler Mason, Erin Anderson, Lauren Rogers, Jada and Maiya Allred, and Ethan Dover; along with four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Northbrook Baptist Church on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 12:30 to 1:45 PM.
Celebration services followed in the Sanctuary at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Benny Greene and Mr. Mark Bason. Interment was in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
