Patricia J. (Grove) Bowers, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away February 25, 2017 at Forest Creek Village in Indianapolis, IN. She was born August 31, 1931 in Muncie, IN the daughter of the late Earl M. and Audrey Marie (Rittenhouse) Grove. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for more than 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 64 years, Wayne Edward Bowers and her granddaughter, Brittany; brothers, Earl, Jr., Bill, Bob and Fred.
Surviving are her children, Vickie Knight and her husband David and DeWayne Bowers and his wife Valerie; 2 grandchildren, Charlie Bowers, Tricia Johnson, Nick Knight and Chris Knight; great-grandchildren, Aden, Bella, Lex, Alex, Tiffany and Ashley.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229, with Pastor Ed Gannon officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
