Mrs. Alice Southwick Parsons, 81, of 1265 Boulevard, West Hartford, widow of Robert S. Parsons Sr., died Friday at Franklin Memorial Hospital, Greenfield. Born in Salem, Mass., she lived in West Hartford since 1910. She was a member of The First Church of Christ, Congregational, West Hartford. She leaves four sons, Clayton S. Parsons and Allen F. Parsons, both of West Hartford; Robert S. Parsons Jr of Toronto, Canada, and Richard C. Parsons of Bernardston, Mass; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Brewer of Newington and Miss Shirley Parsons of Bernardston, Mass.; 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Tuesday at 111 a.m. at the chapel of the First Church of Christ, Congregational, West Hartford with the Rev. John P. Webster, D.D. officiating. Burial will be in the Bridge Street Cemetery, Northampton, Mass., at 3 p.m. The Charles R. Dutton Funeral Service, Northampton, is in charge of arrangements.
