William's service number is #C817 and he died at age 24 when his plane crashed on a low flying tactical excercise near Forest Row Surrey England.His co-pilot LAC Brock were flying in a Westland Lysander.

Officer Middlebro was a graduate of Canada's Royal Military
College in Kingston Ontario iin 1934.He was grad from O.S.C.V.I. highschool Owen Sound.

He is buried in Brookwood Military cemetery in Surrey England with a military marker in area.

He is the son of : William S. Middlebro K.C.
and his Mother Pearl Irene Middlebro.They married in Oct.22.1913 in Wellington County.
