Early Life: Jonathan was born June 27, 1980, in Brenham, Texas, to Roy Dean Hill and Deborah Foster. He graduated from high school in 1999.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: Shortly after high school graduation, he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Novosibirsk Russia Mission. While there, he developed a deep and lasting love for all things Russian. After coming home, he would always search for ways to return to Russia in spirit. He pursued many academic studies with his final goal to become an addiction recovery counselor. His hobbies included snowboarding, hunting, fishing, hiking and biking. Those around him could feel his love and knew he would help in times of need. Jonathan Paul Hill passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2017, at his home in Provo, Utah. He was 36.
Survived By: His father and stepmother, Roy Dean and Gay Hill; mother, Deborah Foster; siblings: Jennifer (Shawn), Sharon (John), Bob (Vanessa), Melissa (Matthew), Kerrie, Heather and Jacquelyn (Jonathan); as well as his eleven nephews and eight nieces.
