SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. R. TRUEBLOOD WEDNESDAY, OCT. 27
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 27 for Mrs. Rebecca Trueblood, 82, of Lehigh. Mrs. Trueblood passed away at her home Monday, October 25. The services were held in the Carson Funeral Home in Dayton at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Dale Kelley, pastor of the Lehigh and McGuire Bend United Brethren Churches officiated. Interment was held in the West Lawn CEmetery at Lehigh. During the service special organ music was presented by Mrs. G. M. Thomas. Bearers were Tom Trueblood, John Flickinger, Charles Flickinger, Richard Foote, Don Trueblood and Ronald Hanson.
Rebecca Renner Trueblood was born in Indiana on January 28, 1883. She has been a resident of Lehigh since 1908. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1957.
Survivors include five children, Haskell Trueblood and Mrs. Earl Flickinger of Lehigh; William Trueblood of Stratford, Ed Trueblood of Bosholm and Mrs. Harold Foote of Des Moines; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
