Benson, NC: Mrs. Kathryn Ivey Jackson, age 74, of 1205 N. Wall Street passed away Tuesday at her residence. A funeral service will be 11:00AM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Glenn McCullen.
Mrs. Jackson was born March 2, 1938 in Johnston County to the late Crawford and Annie Johnson Ivey. She was also preceded in death by her husband Raymond Howard Jackson. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Benson Senior Citizens Club and was a homemaker. She was a member Benson Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving, include, Daughter & Son-in-law, Karen J. & Michael Walker of Benson, Granddaughters & Spouse, Rita Walker of Greenville, NC and Michelle Walker Hill and husband Chris of Washington State, Great-Grandson, Ripken Hill, Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Hilda & Jerry Tart of Dunn, Ruby & Levon Barefoot of Benson, Brother, Farion Ivey of Dunn, Several Nieces & Nephews.
Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, February 22, 2013.
