Horace Clinton Kingsley, aged 55, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Kingsley. died at St. Mary's hospital Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, of internal caneer, after a year's illness.

Deceased was born at Dickinson Center, Franklin County, N. Y. When a small boy he came to Racine with his parents and attended the public schools. Back in the 90's he was a well known business man, his place of business being on Main street. Fourteen years ago he removed to Kenosha and was employed in the Jeffery plant about four years, but for the past ten years he was a commercial traveler.

He was stricken while in this city last September, visiting his parents, and on the 29th of that month underwent an operation and from that time to his death, was confined In the hospital. Mr. Kingsley was a man highly esteemed by his scores of friends and was widely known in Kenosha and also among the commercial travelers.

He is survived by a widow, four daughters and one son, Mrs. John F. Kitzrow, Mrs. Alexander Ebert, Margaret Kingsley, Florence Kingsley and Ralph S. Kingsley, all of Kenosha. The funeral will be held from the residence of his parents, Mr and Mrs H.L. Kingsley 1629 College avenue Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Fred Ingley, of Kenosha.
