He graduated from Hobart College and the University of Pennsylvania (LLD). He was a veteran of WWII. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 44 years, June Van Zeilen Falk (1923-1994). He is survived by his sons, Bert L. (Sibby), Jonathan L. (Candy) and Rufus D. (Barbara); grandchildren, Mollie and Jason; stepgrandchildren, Sarah Mead, Laura and Ben Mielenhausen. David was a member of the New York State Bar, past member of the Rochester & University Clubs, and past officer of the Monroe County and New York State Conservative Parties.
