Timothy Michael Daniels went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Dunkirk on Nov. 26, 1950, the son of Rita M. (Voss) Daniels of Dunkirk and the late Albert J. Daniels.
A Dunkirk High School graduate, Class of 1969, Tim attended technical school in Buffalo, NY for two years. He owned and operated his own TV and Stereo Clinic for many years.
Tim lived a full life with music being his great passion. His other great passion was his 1969 Dodge RT which he bought brand new in 1969. He drove as fast as he could with the music blaring until a tragic train accident claimed his car on Pratt Road in the town of Westfield. He was also an avid fisherman who loved to go fishing with his father, Albert, and his favorite cousin, Michael Lack, Sr.
Tim had battled multiple cancers for many years – colon cancer eight years ago, pancreatic and spleen cancer two years ago and finally, liver cancer. He was a very strong willed man who will be greatly missed by his wife, Hattie; sister, Debbie and the rest of his family. Life will seem empty without him.
In addition to his mother and sister, he is survived by his wife, Hattie Pfleuger; sisters Brenda Daniels and Linda (Richard) Earle, both of Dunkirk; his brothers, David (Brenda) Daniels of Pomfret and Michael Daniels of Dunkirk; his daughters, Donna Daniels of Orchard Park, NY, Michelle Meecham and Brenda Daniels, both of North Carolina. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
