Rosa Lee Sims Reynolds of Brandon, Mississippi passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.

She was born on July 30, 1936 in Boles, Arkansas to the late Arthur Harrison and Zula Ellen Jones Sims. Rosa Lee was a 1954 graduate of McGehee High School. She was a Licensed Funeral Director and a Certified Preneed Counselor for many years before retiring last year. She was a member of Crossgates United Methodist Church in Brandon, MS.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Burl Sims, A.T. Sims, and Doyle Sims.

Survivors include sons, Andy Gill (Shannon) of McGehee, Arkansas and Bryan Gill of Brandon, Mississippi; daughters, Cindy Summers (Pat) of Ridgeland, Mississippi and Teresa Reed of Canton, Mississippi; brothers, Drue Sims of McGehee, Arkansas and Norris Sims of McGehee, Arkansas; sisters, Eva Polk of Monticello, Arkansas and Becky Conliff of Monticello, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Charlotte Waldrup, Andrew Gill, Madeline Cox, Madison Gill, Chandler Gill and Kize Gill; and three great-grandchildren, William Waldrup, Lauren Waldrup, and Piper Gill.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in McGehee, Arkansas with Reverend Reggie Russell officiating. Interment will follow at McGehee Cemetery.
