Ralph E. Keyes, 81, of 1505 James Road died Saturday, May 16, 1998, at Hallmark House Nursing Center.
Born March 24, 1917, in Peoria to William and Bertha Rupp, he married Irene M. Nichols on Aug. 8, 1937, in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, William of Lakewood, Colo., and one half sister, Lillian Rindfleisch of Peoria.
Three brothers preceded him in death.
He worked in maintenance at Standard Brands in Pekin for 29 years until its closing. He also was a custodian at Tazewell County Courthouse and Pekin Union Mission.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
