Marilyn V. Schroeder, age 87 of Mount Morris formerly of Batavia, NY, died Tuesday February 14, 2017 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY. She was born the daughter of Edward and Leona (Vroom) Schroeder on September 5, 1929 in Marilla, NY. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a House mother at the New York State Correctional Facility in Industry for over 5 years. She was a former member of the Batavia Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her 2 daughter Connie Davis of Portageville and Sandra (Ira) McCoy of Elba. 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Sister Marilee Crest of Lima, 2 brothers Don Schroeder of East Bloomfield and Dean (Shirley) Schroeder of Ransonville. Many nieces and nephews.
Interment Union Cemetery, Dalton, NY at the Convenience of the Family.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude‘s Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
