Amy was born on May 11, 1919 in Estherwood, LA. to Willie and Nocial Myers. She passed away on September 12, 2010 in Shreveport where she was a resident and a homemaker.
Preceding Amy in death were her husband, William Porter and her parents. She is survived by her son, William Porter, Jr. and wife Pamela; grandchildren, Amy N. Mann and husband Chad, Tracy J. Porter, David Kirschbaum and wife Shamra ; great-grandchildren, Savannah & Claire Mann.
