Mrs. Billie Jean Gunter Webb, 91 of Urbana, AR passed away, Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Hudson Memorial Nursing Home.
Mrs. Webb was born April 16, 1925 in Fairbanks, LA to the union of Ollie Gunter and Thelma Carter Gunter.
Mrs. Webb was a homemaker and loved oil painting, sewing, reading, crocheting, and catering weddings, she made beautiful cakes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 72 years, Ray Webb, a son David Webb, daughter, Kaye Nelson, a granddaughter, Sarah Beth Pratt and a sister, Kennon Chamberlin.
Survivors include her son, Buck Webb and wife Mae of Urbana, two daughters, Bonnie Webb Sutton and husband Lonnie of Pine Bluff, and Barbie Webb Brodnax and husband John of Strong, sixteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren, one great great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at the Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Green Grove Chapel , near Strong, with Rev. Gerald Hicks and Rev. Mack Ables officiating. Interment will be in the Urbana Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado.
