Allen W. Palmitier, a longtime resident of Tuckahoe died on April 9, 2014 at the age of 86. He was born on August 23, 1927 to the late Allen and Louise (nee Voss) Palmitier. He was a member of the United States Navy and was honorably discharged after his service during WWII. He is survived by his daughters Mary Hogan Goldfinch (Eddie) and Noreen Hogan Napolitano; his grandsons Paul Napolitano III and John Napolitano; and his sister Joan Stadler (Rudy). Allen was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary Palmitier, and his daughters, Eileen Hogan and Diane Palmitier.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER on Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Service will be held on Saturday 11:00 am at the Congregation of Messiah - 26 Cameron Place, Tuckahoe. Interment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, New York.
