Bryce John Smith, age 65, died Sept. 12, 1990, in Salt Lake City.
Born November 14, 1924, in Cedron (Teton County), Idaho, a son of Albert Alvin and Maude Ann Elizabeth Miller Smith. Married Marian Cherrington August 30, 1951, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Veteran of World War II, retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Was a High Priest in the LDS Church and served an LDS Mission to the East Central States, 1949-51. Silver Beehive and Silver Beaver Recipient in B.S.A., where he served for 50 years.
Survived by: Wife, Marian, one daughter, Mrs. Mont (Rose) Hales, Spanish Fork; three sons, Stan and wife, Nancy Smith; Vancouvre, Washington; Mark and wife, Sherryl Smith, West Jordan; Brad Smith, Salt Lake City; one brother, Boyd F. Smith, Manti; three sister, Helen Weaver, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Crystal and husband, David Hillier, Rexburg, Idaho; Reneen and husband, Richard Andrews, Ogden; 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at the Winder Third Ward, 4550 South 1200 East where friends may call Saturday, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home. Interment, Eysian Burial Gardens.
