Memorial services for Doris Clynese “Clyn” Kyer, 82, of Tyler, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at the Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75703. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time Friday at Stewart Family Funeral Home. Clyn passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 at Mustang Creek Estates of Frisco.

Clyn was born Jan. 23, 1935 in Booneville, Mississippi, the daughter of Marion Wheeler Davis and Vena Harp Davis. She was a graduate of Booneville High School. Clyn was a member of Dayspring United Methodist Church in Tyler where she enjoyed Bible study. She was a member of the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce and loved gardening and shopping.

Clyn was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers and sisters and her former spouse, George Kyer (1995).

Clyn is survived by Son, Daughter, two Sisters, Numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
