Charles M Hoerner, 71, of Dover, died at 1030 am Monday at York Hospital lie was the husband of Dons J Anderson1 Hoerner

The service will be 10 a m Thursday at the Emig Funeral Home 47 N Queen St. Dover.
Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens Viewing will be 7 to 9 pm Wednesday at the funeral home

Mr Hoerner was born July 2. 1926. in Harrisburg He was the son of the late Harry D. and Clara B Brickner Hoerner. He was a Air Force veteran ol the Korean War, former president of Dover Fire Company, former scout master of Boy Scout Troop 3 in Windsor and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Roundtown. GTE Pioneers and Hawks Club.

Mr. Hoerner also is surivied by three sons, Curtis L Hoerner of Red Lion, Arthur M Hoerner of Dover and Bryan E. Hoerner of York, a daughter. Donna L. Ruppert of Dover, five grandchildren, a brother, Douglass A. Hoerner of Grossepointe Woods, Mich., and two sisters, Marian Sweigart of Merrit Island. Fla., and Audrey Gilbert of Lancaster.

Officiating at the sendee will be his pastor, the Rev. Steve Yambor. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 740 Sinking Springs Road. York 17404
