Albert "Al" Pisarra, longtime resident of Eastchester and recently of Duxbury, MA. died on Feb. 13 at his home in Duxbury. He was born Feb. 10, 1932 in Brooklyn son of the late Rose T. Frontero and Albert A. Pisarra, Sr. and dear brother of the late Joseph B. Pisarra. Al is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Joan (Schloderer) Pisarra, devoted father of Joyce (Robert) Pisarra Rizzo and Steven (Lesley) Pisarra. Cherished grandfather of Brennan Robert Pisarra. Al graduated from Hobart College and received his Masters in Education from Columbia University. He taught English at Edgemont High School for 25 years and at Iona Prep for 10 years. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Germany near the end of the Korean War. Visiting at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc., Sunday, Feb. 21 from 4-7PM. Mass of Christian Burial, Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe, Monday, Feb. 22 at 9:30AM.
