Raymond Anderson, 82, of Pisgah died Wednesday, April 28, 1999, at Prairie Village Health Care Center, Jacksonville.
He was born March 22, 1917, in Jacksonville, the son of C.O. and Laura Payne Anderson. He married EstaLee Strubbe in 1943 in Jacksonville.
Mr. Anderson a lifelong farmer in the Pisgah area. He volunteered at the Morgan County Fair, where he was superintendent of the poultry and rabbit building. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Survivors: wife, Esta; a son, Mike (wife, Glenda) Anderson of Jacksonville; a daughter, Carol Jean Anderson of Springfield; two granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; and a brother, Paul Anderson of Ashland.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Williamson Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Burial: Diamond Grove Cemetery, Jacksonville.
