"Townville, Aug 13 - Susie, wife of Willis L Arnold, died at her home here this morning at 10:50 o'clock, after two-years' illness of tuberculosis. The deceased was the daughter of Dr and Mrs G W Ellison of Randolph township and was born in 1886. On April 19, 1905, she was united in marriage to Willis L Arnold, who survives her with two daughters, Iola May and Helen Leora. One child died two years ago. Mrs Arnold is also survived by two brothers and two sisters, Howard D (sic) [Allen D] Ellison and George E Ellison, Mrs Ray (sic) [LeRoy] Phillips and Miss Inez Ellison, all of Townville. Mrs Arnold has been deeply interested in the work of the Baptist church, to which she had belonged since childhood. She taught the girls' class in the Sunday school and was a member of the Phileathea (sic) [Philathea] class. The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev H J Whalen, DD, in charge. The interment will be made in Greenlawn cemetery."
