Deborah Ann Reynolds, 64, of Windsor Heights passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Kavanagh Hospice House in Des Moines. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Deborah was born in Des Moines on July 23, 1952 to Richard and Phyllis (Whistler) Reynolds. She attended school in Des Moines and graduated from Roosevelt in 1970. In 1988 she graduated with her Master’s Degree from the University of Iowa and began working at Heartland AEA in Des Moines. She retired from there in 2012. Deborah was a member of the West Minister Presbyterian Church. She had a great love for her daughter and her grandchildren.

Deborah was selfless and often volunteered as a counselor helping others. She loved animals most especially her dog Sophie and her cat Tucker. Traveling was also an important part of her life. Her trips to Paris, Alaska, Hawaii, Italy, Jamaica, and fishing at Spirit Lake were her favorites.

Those left to cherish her loving memories are her daughter Megan Neese; grandsons Sean Neese, and Brennan Neese; father Richard Reynolds; brother David (Renee) Reynolds; nephew Heath Reynolds; niece Stephanie Johnston; and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother.
