Mrs. Minnie Rebecca Senseney, 74, wife of Emery H. Senseney, a retired Western union employee, died Monday at 8 a.m. at the Rockingham memorial Hospital.

A daughter of the late William E. and Mary Elizabeth Kite Lucas, she was born on January 29, 1885 at Grove Hill in Page County, where she spent her early life. She moved with her family to Harrisonburg when she was 12 years old.

Minnie was married 5 Mar 1907 in Clarke County, VA to George H. Fleischauer. On October 28, 1920, she married Mr. Senseney, who survives her.

She was a faithful member of the Muhlenberg Lutheran Church and was active in the work of the church. She was a member of the Women's Bible Class and the Sister Sophia Moeller Circle of the church. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one brother, D.A. Lucas, of Penn Laird, and five nieces and three nephews. A niece, Mrs. Mary Grace Schultz, was reared in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Senseney.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Muhlenberg Lutheran Church, with pastor, Rev. Dickson W. Taylor, officiating. Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery.
