Based on a walkthrough conducted in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the Lewis County Historical Society recorded the birth and death dates from Sarah's headstone in Esham Cemetery. There were several hard to read headstones within the cemetery during my walkthrough in the fall of 2015 but there was one headstone in particular that was located in close proximity to George Washington Prater's headstone. I am posting the photo on Sarah's memorial but the headstone will need to be inspected a little more thoroughly to make sure that this is her headstone.
