On September 19, 1952 she was united in marriage to Earl Dean Rowland and they were blessed with 3 children.
Mattie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dean Rowland; son in-law, Tim Keeling; three sisters, Gene Cunningham, Geneva Odem and husband Bob, and Dorothy Albaugh and husband Bob.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Rowland and wife, Patty, Fair Grove, Missouri, Darrell Rowland and wife, Paula, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Terry Rowland, Springfield, Missouri; 3 grandchildren, Angela Terry and husband, Chris, Wardsville, Missouri, Leslie Rowland and Emily Rowland, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 2 great grandchildren, Blake and Paige Terry; brother, Billie Cunningham and wife Evelyn, Fair Grove, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Funeral services for Mattie Lou Rowland will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday February 13, 2017 at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, with burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, Elkland. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday February 12th in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pleasant View Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
