CHRISTENSEN, Albert "Bert" was born November 4, 1899 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa the son of Anton Christensen and Nielsine Christina Petersen. He married Elma Maria Steffensen January 18, 1922 in Council Bluffs, Iowa and they were the parents of three children, Earl, Carol Lenore (Conrad Emil Kubina) and Eugene. He first was employed as a clerk in a grocery store, then as an auto mechanic and salesman. He went to work for the railroad as a mail clerk and retired as the Superintendent of Mails in the Chicago Post Office. He affiliated with Euclid Lodge September 15, 1965 from Sunset Lodge No. 1076, Chicago, Illinois. He died February 23, 1981 in Oceanside, San Diego County, California and was buried in Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Oceanside, California.
