Terre Haute Tribune - William Merritt, 61 years old, died at 11:30 o'clock Sunday morning at the residence in Dresser. Surviving are the widow Venna; a stepson, Chester Murphy; two brothers, Joseph & Jim, both of Terre Haute and two sisters, Ella Walden and Mrs Rilda Walden, both of West Terre Haute. The body was removed to the Gillis Funeral Home and was later returned to the residence where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, with burial in Bethesda Cemetery.
