Services for Mrs. Georgia Jeane Polk Massey will be held on February 10, 2017 at 2:00pm at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with interment in Riverwood Memorial Park. Visitation will also be on February 10 2017 prior to the service from 12:00 until 2:00pm.

Georgia Jeane Polk Massey, 87, of Brookhaven, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 7, 2017.

She was born in D’Lo, Mississippi on May 11, 1929 to Oscar Hardy Polk and Asha Marie Franklin Polk.

She was a devoted homemaker and family was the utmost importance. She loved watching her grandsons play sports and play in the band, and her granddaughter in pageants, dance and cheerleading. Mrs. Georgia also was a member of First Baptist Church Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; siblings, Mickey Bramson, Ralph Polk, Mattie Sue Keith, Robert Polk, Ouida Hancock, John Polk and James Polk.

Those left to cherish Mrs. Massey’s Memory is her husband of 62 years, Rev. Malcolm Massey; daughter, Vicki Daniels and Husband Rev. Jon Daniels; three grandchildren, Reese Daniels and wife Allison, Rachel King and husband Wesley, and Russ Daniels.

She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Dayne Daniels, Addie Daniels and Selah Daniels.
