Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Mason Wynne Garner, age 82, will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 10, 2017, at the North Arkansas Street Church of Christ, Springhill, LA, with Huey Mayfield, Keith Shofner and Jerry Dyer officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Branch Cemetery, Taylor, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 9, 2017, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Garner was born on August 18, 1934 to Luther and Fannie Marie Stanford Mason in Magnolia, AR and passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in Shongaloo, LA. Mrs. Garner was a lifelong resident of this area and was a faithful member of North Arkansas Church of Christ. She retired from the Webster Parish School Board as a cafeteria worker and enjoyed bird watching and her flower garden. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Charles R. "Buddy" Garner; two daughters, Laquetta Schlidt, and husband, Paul of Mountain View, AR, Tina Hendricks and husband, Harold, of Sarepta, LA; two sons, Johnny Wynne and wife, Sherri of Springhill, LA and Christopher Wynne of Shongaloo, LA; sixteen grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren; two sisters, Diane Brewer and husband, Jimmy and Mary Strayhan and husband, Mike; brother, David Mason and wife, Sandy; many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Garner was preceded in death by her first husband, John Hugh "Johnny" Wynne; a son, Bobby Dale Wynne; parents and a brother, Holly Mason.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jeremie Wynne, Jeremy Neill, Jeremy Hammontree, Jason McClure, Tarlton Wingfield and Tyler Sigler.

Honorary pallbearer will be her grandson, Tommy Harvey.
