WESLEY J. SPARKS, SR.

Wesley J. Sparks, Sr., 83 years, of 6182 Elm St. Conesus died Friday, Dec. 18, 1987 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. He was born in New Foundland July 20, 1904 the son of Agusta and Eliza Sparks. Prior to retirement he was employed at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea. He was a member of the CSEA.

He is survived by his wife Ida Wilkinson Sparks; six children, Mrs. Kenneth (Thelma) Barber, Wesley Sparks, Jr., Norman Sparks all of Conesus, Garren Sparks of Hemlock, Edwin Sparks of Conesus, and Wayne Sparks of Springwater, 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends called Sunday at the Brown-Drowne Funeral Home, Livonia where funeral services were held Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Walter Connor officiating. Burial, Arnold Cemetery, Conesus. Friends wishing may make memorial contributions to the Livonia Ambulance Fund.
