Pearl L. Turner passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Irving surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 15, 1936 to the Cleater C and Mollie B. (Owens) Collins in New Boston, Texas. Pearl worked for Safeway foods, Inc. for 18 years. After her retirement she opened her home and began Pearl's Daycare, helping to raise the children of Irving for ten years.
She is survived by her loving husband Roy M. Turner of the home; children: Donald and wife Sarah Rutherford of Gram, Aubrey Rutherford of Gram, Doris and husband Ron May of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Danny Rutherford of Gram, Dennis Stimson of San Antonio, James Stimson and Partner Jason of Irving, Patty Turner and husband Craig McCorkle of Lake Dallas and Brad and wife Peggy Turner of Crandall; Grandchildren: Derek, Candace, Callie, Patrick, Racey, Brendan, Colte and Connor; honorary grandchildren: Thomas, Cameron, Ashley, Austin and Michelle; great-grandchildren: Brinleigh, Bentley, Phoebe, Enoch and Jonie.
The family will receive friends Monday evening, February 6, 2017 6-8PM. Funeral service will be Tuesday afternoon, February 7, 2017 1PM at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
