Wanda Phipps was born March 27, 1929 in Gracemont, Oklahoma to McKinley Anthony and Mary (Whitlock) Anthony. She was a homemaker. Wanda and Elmer C. Howell were united in marriage on July 16, 1949 in Oklahoma County. Wanda and Elmer spent several loving years together until his death on January 2, 1966. Wanda then married Norman L. Phipps on June 15, 1972 in Mayes County, spending loving years together until Normans passing on November 27, 1989. Wanda loved to cook and work in her yard. She lived life her way and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
At the age of 87 she had lost many loved ones, her parents, two sisters, four brothers, both husbands and her beloved grandson Jimi.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda; granddaughter, Billie and husband Tony; Great grandchildren, Kylie and husband Ryan, Montana and his fiancée Madison, Madi; brothers, David and wife Carol, Orvil and wife Ramona; sister-in-law, Daisy; niece, Betty Jo and a multitude of other nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Southeast funeral home with Cindy Shaffer officiating. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
