She was an active member of Summitville Baptist Church where she enjoyed the fellowship and much more.
She retired from Guide Lamp in Anderson in 1980 after thirty two years of service.
Family was a huge part of Clara's life and she was a blessing to family and friends.
Survivors:
One son: Stanley Gibson (Jeanie Kirby); one daughter: Doris Savage; five grandchildren: Cassandra Creamer (Todd), Amanda Purvis, Danette Cornett (Chris), Benjamin Gibson and Andrew Gibson (Carrie); eight great grandchildren; one brother: Elbert Fields (Dorine); many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Her parents; her husband; three sisters: Jewell Jessie (Joe), Lois Wilson (Ovie), Mammie Shives (James); two brothers: Carroll Fields (Lee) and Earon Fields; and one grandson: Jacob Savage .
