Age 90, died peacefully at TJ Samson Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Son of:
George Calvin and Pearl (Fields) Fields

Husband of:
Mandie Dorine (Bragg) Fields. They were married sixty two years.

Military:
He served his country honorably and was a United States Army Veteran.

He retired from the Dollar General Corporation after twenty years and farmed the majority of his life.

He enjoyed life and loved to laugh and tell stories of his life experiences, and spending time fishing and hunting with family and friends.

Predeceased by:
His parents; two brothers: Earon Fields and Carroll Fields; four sisters: Mary Lois Wilson, Jewell Jessie, Mayme Shives and Clara Gibson; and one grandson: Charles Wesley Cochran

Survivors:
His loving wife; one daughter: Sheila Saltsman (Terry); one son: Daryl Fields (Jenny); four grandchildren: Megan Fields Landrum (Chris), Rachel Fields, Derek Saltsman and Nikki Jolly (Richie); four great grandchildren" Kennedy Saltsman, Dathan Jolly, Mayci Jolly and Bree Jolly; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Services:
Funeral services held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 22, 2018 at A F Crow & Son Funeral Home with Brother Donnie Wilson, Brother Danny Dickson and Brother Casey Chambers officiating.

Military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow.

Pallbearers:
Derek Saltsman, Robert Lee Jessie, Garnett Shives, Chris Landrum, Doug Read and Roger Bragg.

Honorary Pallbearers:
Frankie McIntyre, David Updegraff, James Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, Charles Wilson, Ray Wilson, Stanley Gibson and Ronnie Wilson.
