Sara Margaret Cook Harrison, age 72, of Crockett, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 in the Crockett Community Care Center. Sara was born July 25, 1943 in Lufkin in parents, Carmen Alexander Cook and Ruby Herrick Cook. She attended East Texas Baptist College and also SFA. Sara attended the first nurse’s aid class at Lufkin Memorial Hospital and retired as a stocker for Wal Mart in Crockett.
Sara is preceded in death by husband, John Edd Harrison in 1992 and daughter, Teresa Harrison in 1992 and parents, Carmen and Ruby Cook. Funeral services for Sara Margaret Cook Harrison will be held Monday, February 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles McClure and Rev. Keeney Dickinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Ivie Cemetery.
