"Adolph H. Wendland 87 of 3 Eveline St., who was secretary-treasurer of Oshkosh Trunk & Luggage Co. when it was here, died Saturday at 1:45 pm. at Mercy Hospital, following a short illness.

"He was born in the town of Wolf River on Dec 11, 1877, son of William and Amelia Wendland, and was married in Oshkosh on June 5, 1895, to Sylvia Nolte, who preceeded him in death on May 10, 1950.

"Mr Wendland was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

"Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Emma Spiegelberg, Oshkosh, one niece and two nephews.

"Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 at Konrad Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clarence Koepsell, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

"Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. today until the hour of services."
