Services for Mrs. Amanda G. Armand will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church on Friday, September 23, 2005 at 11 a.m. with Msgr. Steve Testa officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Mausoleum,
Bordelonville under the direction of Escude Funeral Home, Mansura.
Mrs. Armand, age 81, of Bordelonville, died Monday. September 19, 2005 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Gremillion; mother, Leota Bordelon; son, Ronald Armand; brothers, Lance Gremillion, Louis Gremillion and Homer Gremillion; sisters, Mamie Reason and Dorothy Gremillion; and grandson, Johnny Armand.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis Armand, Jr. of Bordelonville; sons, Larry Armand and Wayne Armand of Bordelonville; daughters, Lanette Armand Bandy of Bordelonville and Charmaine Juneau of New Roads; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at St. Peter Church Hall, Bordelonville on Thursday, September 22, 2005 from 5 p.m. until time of services on Friday. A Rosary will be recited Thursday at 6 p.m. in the church hall.
Pallbearers will be Tony Bandy, Adris Bandy, Jeffery Armand, Dirk Juneau, Kurtis Armand and Randy Armand.
