MARGARET "PEGGY" GLENNON STRATTON Aug. 29, 1915 - Jan. 12, 2007 Passed away peace fully with dignity, grace and class at the age of 91.

Born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey, attending Sacred Heart High School. With her husband Harry, she moved to 16817 Addison St., Encino, California, where she lived with her family for over 50 years.

Margaret was a devoted, caring wife and caregiver to her late husband Harry Stratton, a mother beyond all words to her four sons: John Harry, Robert and Peter who she continually supplied love, caring and a wonderful sense of humor.

Margaret was affectionately known as "Grandma" to her nine fantastic grandchildren and one great grandson who by their many successes continue to reflect her love, caring and support throughout their lives. Her pride in each of them was obvious as she basked in the glory of all her Stratton grandchildren: James, Matthew, Glennon, Jonathan, Brock, Jack, David, Zachary, and her shining star "Kate", her only granddaughter! It was always special to see each grandchild secure in the belief that they were her favorite and number one in her eyes. Grandma's ability to communicate this to every grandchild was amazing to watch and beautiful to behold. She recently loved meeting her first great grandson, Tosh.

Even though the distance was great between Margaret and her siblings, they were extremely close, helping each other with love, affection, and devotion. Catherine Glennon Donnelly, Mary Glennon Reilly, and William, John, Ruth and Peter Glennon, loved and supported each other in ways too numerous to mention. Her twelve nieces and nephews were also very special to her which she communicated to them in her own unique ways.

Margaret was a caring, giving and loving wife, mother, "Grandma", sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed by all but remain forever in each of our hearts.
