Gwinetta Mitchell Anglin, 59, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017, following an extended illness from renal failure. Donations can be made to The National Kidney Foundation www.kidney.org

Born in Prestonsburg, Ky. on April 28, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Orville and Golda May Jones Mitchell. She graduated with BS and EDS from Morehead State University in Morehead, Ky. She received a master’s of science from the University of Tennessee. Mrs. Anglin taught at Gainesville High School as Family and Consumer Science teacher from 1997 to 2006. She was preceded in death by her father, Orville Mitchell and her mother, Golda Mae Jones DeRossett.

Survivors include her husband, L.C. Anglin, Commerce; brother and sister-in-law, Barry K. and Vivian DeRossett, Georgetown, Ky.; brother Dr. Dwayne Likens, Martin, TN.; stepson, Chris Anglin, Commerce; nephews, Charlie and Andy DeRossett, Georgetown, Ky. niece Alex Likens, Asheville, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 30, in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.
The Rev. Jerry Kidd and Rev. Shane Turner officiated. Mrs. Anglin gave her own eulogy that she recorded 7 months before here death. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Gwinetta loved studying the bible and teaching people about Jesus. She spent thousand's of hours studying the bible. Gwinetta wrote and printed 78 Bible Studies.
