Michael John Denton, 54 of Bridgeport, AL, died January 29, 2017 at his home.
Michael was the son of the late John Anson and Betty Jo Blakemore Denton, born November 7, 1962 in South Pittsburg, TN.
He was in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force having served four tours overseas in Iran and Afghanistan.
Mike had worked as a Master Technician at Gentry Chevrolet.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Myrtle Blakemore.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Kaye "Jodi" Adkins Denton; sons: Jonathan Denton of Nashville, TN, Michael Denton, Jr. of Cleveland, TN; step-daughters: Jaynee (Erick) McJunkins of Prescott, AR, Jenny (Chris) Townsend of Monroe, LA, Tiffany Campbell, Patricia Campbell both of Bridgeport, AL; 16 grandchildren; brother Richard (Eileen) Denton of Firth, ID, and niece Sally Denton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 6-8 PM CT, at Rudder Funeral home in Bridgeport, AL.
The Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 2, at 2 PM CT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Joe Herran followed with interment in the Williams Family Cemetery.
